Heat Diverters for the Humphrey's Hot Box! Pick between 1/8" or 1/4" steel. 

These heat diverters sit right above the firebox on a built-in rail as seen in pictures. 

Why add a heat diverter? Adding a heat diverter to your Hot Box adds some separation from your firebox to your cook chamber, which some cooks like for a few reasons! Heat diverters also redirect the airflow in your Hot Box and can promote more even heat distribution! They also can act as a shield, so grease doesn't directly drip on the hot coals in your firebox. It all depends on the style of cooking you are looking for!
